HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007

2007 is just days away- and I feel like I just started this blog. Its been awhile since I have posted on this blog, so here is the official update. I am now working with the Transportation Division at the Prison. It has been keeping me busy and I am mostly focused on completing my training that lasts for a minimum of 8 weeks. We transport inmates to court, the hospital, county jails, and anywhere else that you might think of.
Traci is pregnant with our 3rd child. We found out on the 19th of December that it is going to be a BOY!!!!! We are excited, even though deep down I know Traci was secretly hoping for a girl. No worries though, we are totally excited about adding another boy to the Carter Family. We are not set yet, but the name Jacob rings good in our ears at this moment.

Cameron is doing great. He turned 5 this year and has become the biggest Star Wars fan overnight. He keeps saying that he wants to grow out his hair like Anakin Skywalker. He is a funny boy. He has been going to preschool this year and loves it. He is really excited to become a big brother. At the ultrasound, he waited patiently for the announcement for the gender of the baby. Right after the Doctor said we were going to have a boy, he replied " I should have known! " Recently, he has been harassing me when I come home from work. Since I completed the Police Academy I told him I needed to get a job as a Police Officer to get a police car. So every day I come home, he keeps asking me " Dad, when are you going to get a job ???! " Somehow he has it in his mind that his dad is a deadbeat and jobless. Hes a funny boy.

Zachary is a complete ham. Any chance to get in front of the camera he will pose and smile. He turned 2 this year and has been keeping us on our toes. He has turned to coloring the walls, books, TV, front door, and himself. He has become a little artist. I once found him in the process of coloring his leg, arm and half of his face green with a marker. Its a good thing we don't have any permanent markers in the house. He has learned to fend for himself and holds his own against his older brother. I guess thats part of being a little brother. He too, is also excited to have a new baby brother come along. He keeps pointing to Traci's stomach and asking for the baby to come out now so he can hold him. This year he became a huge train fan and gives a welcome "choo-choo" everytime he hears a train. For Christmas, Santa brought him a train set. He was thrilled with the gift and hasn't let anyone touch it since.

Bailey, our Shitzu, also turned 2 this year. We are planning to breed her within the next 4-6 months. She hates being in the snow, as you can see it totally covers her. The dog has been totally domesticated. She kills me on how pampered she acts and how beneath it is of her to go outside to do her daily duties. She just loves to make me mad and go on our hardwood floor. She ran away several weeks ago, and the kids wouldn't stop crying about loosing a member of the family. It was a good thing Traci found her before it got too late. She would have been a Shitzu popsicle.
So that is us, in a nutshell, I hope everyone is doing well. I will give more updates this next year.
Merry Chirstmas and Happy New Year!
