BEST of Bush

Its long, about 10 minutes, but pretty funny. Worth the watch!

Day 1...

So, with the help of my father in law, we managed to get the piers down and burried and the frame leveled and square. It took us the better half of the morning, but it was a great start. I ended up going to 2 Home Depot's this morning at 6:00 a.m. to find all of the material and to Geneva Rock for some extra gravel. Needless to say, I am tired. It was a good day, and we will see how things go on Monday. Tuesday's forcast calls for snow.

"The SHED" ... And so it Begins...

So the project has begun, after many months of nagging from Traci. She has the "nesting" instinct right now, and I really don’t blame her either, she only has 5 weeks left until her due date. ...I guess I really shouldn’t say its "nagging" since that is looked at as a negative comment towards her. Either way, she has been on my case to get the job done. I guess I should admit that I am the procrastinator here. Anyway, I plan on updating the shed project as the weeks go by, and I have a projected end date of the 12th of April. So that doesn’t get me much time, but we'll see if I cant keep up with the deadline...

As for the Shed, it has gone through some metamorphosis of such. Long story short, it started as a small 8x8 shed, and now it has grown to a 12x16 mammoth. I shouldn't have to justify a size of this proportion, but honestly, we don’t have any type of storage in our house. -And that excludes a garage. We lost that to the previous owners who converted it over to a living room of sorts- its actually where I am typing this right now! Anyway, there are too many people that I should thank for the information on building this beast, so I apologize in advance if I skip over you, it wasn't intentional. I do want to thank Jason my brother; He is an amazing friend and brother, I wouldn't have been able to do as much as I have done so far without him. Craig, he too is an amazing friend of mine that is willing to go out of his way to put this thing together. He lives over an hour away, and is willing to drop everything to help out. And Finally, Thanks to my father in law for dedicating his time to the most crucial point of building this. Besides my own great father, I don’t know any man that is as genuine as him, and willing to help with anything you ever need. Thanks, and I will update this as it goes!!!

Family Update...

So I guess Cameron has a small problem with eating too many sweets. He is going to be seeing the dentist next week to fill 12- no, I didnt studder- 12 cavities. Ouch. On the bright side, he will be completely under for the procedure, so my phobia of the dentist will not be passed to him this early.

Zac is loving the kitchen. I can not enter it without him pulling something out and wanting to cook. So you can see that he loves to cook up a storm! His birthday is tomorrow, and little does he know that he is going to the Disney on Ice. He is completely in love with Mickey Mouse right now, so that should just knock his socks off!
